My name is Clare, and i live in the small town of Rugby in Warwickshire.
I have always had a special love for animals, and i was bought up around quite a variety. When i left school i went straight to an agricultural college where i gained my National Diploma in Animal Care and i started working at my local veterinary practice.
I bought my first Ragdoll back in May 2005, and my love for the Ragdoll has developed from having him around.
I bought Blue home when he was just 6 months old, from Patsy Gallagher at the Petil-Lu cattery in Norfolk.
Little did i know that he would have such an influence over me, and it was since the arrival of Blue i decided to breed these special cats.
Blue Merlin was my insperation, and so my cattery name is dedicated to him.
In 2006, i bought my first breeding queen; Daisy my seal bi colour and 2007 has seen the arrival of 2 new queens to my breeding programme.
In 2007 my first litter of kittens arrived, which i loved every minute of.
